Paris Jackson is taking a major step in a growing financial dispute over her late father's fortune, asking a court to transfer $600 million into a trust fund for herself and her two brothers. The 28-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson filed court documents on October 29, requesting that estate executor John Branca move the money into the Michael Jackson Family Trust. According to her legal team, the trust was supposed to be established under her father's will before his passing in 2009. However, they claim that more than 17 years later, it remains unfunded. Paris's lawyers also accused the estate's executor of maintaining control over when and how much money the beneficiaries receive. They argued that the children have received less than what their father's original plans intended. The filing requests an initial $600 million transfer, although Paris's attorneys say the court could determine a different reasonable amount. But the estate is pushing back.
