I'm from Zia Pueblo and that is not the original sun symbol we've always had a 4sun symbol with 4 rays in each direction and one wit 3 rays in each direction

Only a few people who make clothing or use the symbol actually ask for permission even today! The Zia Pueblo people will give you permission if asked from what I understand.

Peter made a huge impact on me as a little kid, and I still think about him alot. I hope he is well. He made me moccasins as a little kid from the soles of his son and I would visit him as I got older
