Can you get C-PTSD from being bullied? I was bullied in every grade at every school i went to for about 9 years. I still can't be in a school building without feeling stressed and I feel like i still have a sense of panic whenever something reminds me od it. Sincerely, writing this as i'm going home because i had a panic attack after being in my new school for 1 hour.

is it also a psychiatric diagnosis in the US? because I was diagnosed by my psychologist with CPTSD but my psychiatrist said that it is not a psychiatric diagnosis. I am located in Lithuania

It was never physical abuse, financial hardship, etc. so it didn't feel 'as bad'. But is was deffo emotional neglect.

Thank you for this! What I struggle with is knowing the difference between my CPTSD (which I am diagnosed with) and possible other diagnoses I/others might be missing, like OCD or autism, etc.

I walked into my therapist’s office several yrs ago saying I had a happy childhood but suffered from panic & anxiety since the age of 8. I now realise my childhood was v traumatic & I deffo have CPTSD

I cant admit it was traumatic to me. I don't remember anything from my childhood or even current years. I am filled with shame, I am shame itself. there's so much humiliation in everything I do.

How would you differentiate CPTSD issues from current home life issues? Depression and anxiety would be normal if someone doesn’t feel safe at home, but that isn’t really dysregulation the way I know

Would you think childhood obesity and poor hygiene would count as neglect/cptsd? Parents told me they loved me and I was too sensitive when I cried about being bullied with no friends at school.

What about childhood medical trauma? I have about 7 occurrences of cancer starting when I was 6 years old. I spent a lot of time in the hospital. This caused the trauma of almost dying and fear it could happen again but also being bullied form it, looking different from it, missing a lot of my childhood. It impacted the way I date, my friendships, how I see myself. A lot of interpersonal problems in my family happened from it too. I was diagnosed with ptsd but I do feel like I could have cptsd, I just don’t know if it ever happens from medical trauma.
