Ingredients 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 3 gloves of garlic ( sliced ) 1 tsp red chili flakes 1 cup cherry tomatoes Salt to taste 1 bunch basil plus more for garnish 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup pasta water 1/2 pound spaghetti (or packaged pasta of your choice) Method: In a pot boil water with salt. Once boiling Drop in the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until just al dente. Drain and set aside ( reserve half cup pasta water) In a skillet add oil on medium heat. Add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds. Add red chili flakes and tomatoes. Season with salt and add 1/2 cup water. Cover and let it cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened . Toss in the cooked spaghetti add pasta water. Mix on high heat for 1-2 min or until the sauce is nice and thick. Add freshly grated parmesan cheese. Mix well. Garnish with more basil and parmesan cheese if desired. #pastapomodoro #Recipe #pasta
