@valseyes: Making photos feel like movie frames Here are my favorite tips for editing 👇 1️⃣ Reduce Contrast, Add Fade – Instead of adding contrast, lower highlights, lift blacks in the Tone Curve for that soft filmic look. You can also lower the whites and highlights in the basic tab. 2️⃣ Split Toning for Cinematic Vibes – Add warm tones to highlights and cool tones to shadows in the Color Grading panel. You can also do the opposite. I usually like to put green/yellow tones in the highlights. 3️⃣ Use Radial Filters to Draw Attention – Create a subtle vignette or add light around your subject to guide the viewer’s eye. 4️⃣ Lower Clarity for a Dreamy Feel – A slight reduction in Clarity (around -10) makes portraits and soft-lit scenes feel more ethereal. Same goes for the "dehaze" slider. 5️⃣ Grain for an Analog Look – In the Effects panel, add a bit of grain for texture that mimics film photography. 🪄 Bonus Tip: Step Away Before Exporting Ever edited a photo for too long, only to realize later that it looks overdone? Take a break before exporting. When you come back with fresh eyes, you’ll know if it needs tweaking. ⭐️ Always Edit with Purpose Before making any adjustment, ask yourself why you’re doing it.
