Tajik Roots :
Tajiks are eastern Iranic and so are the Pamiris. The only difference is that Pamiris have been more isolated in the mountains whilst the mainland Tajiks were much less. They’re both Iranic. Most Tajiks speak Persian but Pamiri Tajiks speak eastern Iranic languages
