It's Prop 65. Similar warnings are in restaurants. it's a requirement by law to make the public aware that there are chemicals in objects and food that could pose risks.

those warning labels are only products the company also sells in california cause california law requires it. in other words, companies who don’t sell in Cali could have same type stuff, but no label

It’s because of prop 65, which is why all those tags say “in the state of California”. they’re required to have those tags on them to sell them in California. It doesn’t mean they have those chemicals
