I just did my first wedding on Saturday, I mentioned months ago back in October that I’d do sneak peeks 24-48hrs after but after serious thought, I didn’t include it in the contract. Was never mentioned again, the bride also never specifically requested sneak peeks. But since it’s my first one, do I send sneaks? Or full gallery once ready? I’ll likely still be doing edits and may want to change something but will feel bad if the sneaks are different from final images. If that makes sense

I struggle with sneaks, because sometimes after weeks I tweak my edits and I hate if they’re not consistent totally with sneaks. Thoughts?

I think a handful or even 5 pictures is perfect. When I shot my friend’s proposal pics, I delivered 5 pics the night of just so they could share right away!

Within 24-48 hrs, about 10! 1 week after in exchange for a review I deliver them an additional 15:)

I always did ONE maybe two the night or morning after the wedding so they could change their profile pic before their honeymoon. I don’t get these 30-100+ sneak peek GALLERIES. That’s wild.

me personally I think 5-8 sneak peeks is perfect. and then I wait for the gallery. but one of my very close friends is a wedding photographer and I get how much time it takes to edit these photos.

I deliver up to 200 by the Wednesday after the wedding. I am starting to rethink this method. I would like to start capping my wedding sneaks at 25-30.

Up until last year I did sneak peeks the night of the shoot or wedding basically no matter what (unless I didn’t get home until like midnight)! Last year that wasn’t feasible, so I started extending

I started doing sneak peaks same day in only black and white, I put multiple pics in a collage for my clients with the highlights. It makes me much more relaxed working on the gallery!

I used to give 15-20 fully edited night of. Their gallery with basic corrections was up 6 days after the wedding. Everyone has what works for them.

I do 100-200 within 48 hours and that’s something my couples have loved but I think I need to stop doing 24 hours so I can see my kids

I rate images in camera through the day. then I can just sorry by rating and I'll do a quick edit on 20-40 shots or so and send that out within 24-48 hrs depending on if I have a double header.

My sneak peeks also used to be 10-25 photos depending on the session / wedding, but I’ve increased it to 15-30 for a session & 30-50 for a wedding!

I do sneak peaks wirhin 72hrs! BUT I don’t do big galleries! I do maybe 20 images 1-2 images from each hour of the day!

I am up there as well with doing 100-200 within 24-48 hours! I think it adds so much value to the client experience! It also helps so much in the editing process because I already have previews..
