Should have pulled back and allow a negotiator to talk him down, you can tell he is fed up with life and this would have been the result with any type of arrest at that moment as he was alone

Clearly a standoff situation, a professional negotiator should have been called. These officers just needed to keep this soldier talking until the negotiator got there and took over.
