i never had book fare money so i ended up stealing a diary with a booklight and padlock. later i confessed to the librarian and she said that she knew and that i would tell her when she was ready.

The book fair was one of the few times my parents would give me a little money. We didn't have much for extras but there was always a little bit for books. To no one's surprise, I am now a librarian ❤

I work at an alternative school and l organize a book drive. Every kid gets to pick a book for every child in the house with them. It makes me teary eyed every year.

My 5yo went to her 1st book fair last month. She told me she didn’t want to do them in the past bc it was too overwhelming so we wrote a wishlist and planned it out. She got 3 books and was so happy🥰

This made me cry! Book fairs were horrible. So many cool things and I couldnt even have a pencil. This is amazing! I hope it helps keep kids reading and wanting to learn
