I do this then put the ribs in a dish with apple juice cook low and slow, then put on a baking sheet with bbq sauce

I make mine very similar but after the rub I cut the slab in half and stack it in the crock pot and add a teeny bit of Apple juice in the bottom of the pot 😮💨
