people, know this. Heavy weights are for building muscle, light weights are for toning. Use light weights, and no matter how much you do you'll never have huge muscles, just nicely defined ones.

you can build muscle but barely any, if you want to continue building muscle you’ll have to do progressive overload and also train biceps, triceps, shoulders etc with specific exercises

Ok here are the general rules.
For bulking you need weights so heavy you can only do a max of 3 sets of 5 reps. For toning your weights must be light enough for 3 sets of 22 reps. Now you know, go find your ideal weight. Happy lifting!
