The trick is to book a cash trip, when you're in the ride change the payment method from cash to card.

this video is misleading. I am a driver for uber if I cancel a ride without being at the pickup location I dnt get a cent.even if I'm at the location I have to wait 5 min b4 I get a R7 for waiting then canceling the ride.

this is happening on bolt on the card payments, the drivers are not ending your ride and they change the destination and it get deducted from your account. happened to me. don't use your card to pay.
