We have to ask. Sometimes the wife is trans, sometimes it's in vitro, we just HAVE to be certain before we do anything that will hurt the baby.

Healthcare worker here! At some facilities, we're required to ask those questions regardless of who the person is with. Like as an occupational therapist, I have to test every single person's short term memory even if they're not here for that. 😂 It's annoying, but we have to ask it!

😹 No i think it’s good though. Plenty of women are receiving IVF treatments or are surrogate mothers for others. Its good doctors aren’t assuming.

Well, open relationships are pretty big these days. I’m just saying I work in healthcare and there are some things we are required to ask even if the answer is obvious.
