@doctorsood: 🙅♀️💥 Popping a stye? It may seem like a quick fix, but it can lead to bigger problems! 🚫 Popping a stye can spread the infection and even cause scarring around your delicate eyes 👁️. Instead, let’s talk about safe and effective ways to manage that pesky bump👇 1️⃣ Apply a warm compress for 10-15 minutes, 3-5 times a day. It helps the stye drain naturally, no squeezing needed! 2️⃣ Keep those eyelids clean! Use a gentle mix of baby shampoo and water to wash the area. 3️⃣ Avoid makeup and contact lenses until your stye heals. 💫 If it’s not improving after a couple of days, don’t hesitate to call your eye care provider 👩⚕️👨⚕️. Sometimes professional treatment is the best option to avoid long-term issues! So, what’s your go-to home remedy for a stye? SolarFlowerPower :
maybe it's a country specific, but why don't you use a topical antibiotic cream? I'm quite prone to stye and I've been using antibiotic creams for ages 😳 is it not effective enough (PubMed says so)?
