My deaf friend sent a similar page and one of the cases I saw was over $580. I was like oh hell no. I wear hearing aids but couldn’t justify spending that much on an accessory.

I was fully hearing til the age of 44 and now depend on my hearing aids to hear. I am proud of my hearing aids and they were expensive. I don't get taking advantage of people like that

I am 75% deaf in both ears and my insurance won’t cover hearing aids so I have to go without. Hearing shouldn’t be a luxury.

I completely agree! My spouse and I both wear hearing aids. Making aids pretty and removing stigma? Awesome. Associating accessibility with luxury? Absolutely not.

yea, my mother is hoh, her hearing aids costs 7k each, her hearing aids are metallic pink and she loves them, but i doubt she’d be interested in spending that much additional money for a pretty case
