This super simple recipe and easy-to-make salad is absolutely delicious. Ingredients: 3 Romaine Lettuce Hearts 3 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese 1/4 tsp Red Chili Flake 1 Shallot (sliced) 2 Garlic Cloves 1/2 Lemon Juiced 1/4 Cup Olive Oil Salt and Pepper Directions: - Chop the romaine lettuce and rinse under cold water - In a small pan on medium heat, add 1 tsp of olive oil and the garlic. Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds then let cool - In a large bowl combine all the salad ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper. Taste the salad and adjust flavors. We had some extra shallot that we just sliced and added. Serve as is or with crispy or grilled chicken on top. If we are making this during the week, we go with a grilled chicken because it’s easier and healthier. On a weekend, we have a bit more time to prepare, so we make crispy chicken. This night we made panko crusted crispy chicken. It is always so delicious over a salad, pasta, or even on its own. If you want that recipe, let us know below.
