And I also factor in the fertilizer my chickens make as well as the pest control. They’re worth so much more than just the eggs 🥰

I keep seeing that people pay more by keeping chickens than they do at the grocery store… and I’m wondering what I’m missing. We pay about 40 a month on feed… and we get about 25 dozen eggs a month.

Also, I‘m guessing there are no residual meds in the eggs from your homestead. I know in mine there’s none 😉 All natural and healthy with no antibiotics and sh*t 🤭

if you allow more free range and less feed dependent you can keep costs lower then the stores. I sell eggs for $3/dozen and still make a profit. also, chickens are omnivores so when we hunt/butcher,

I’m assuming you sell some of your eggs which in fact would reduce your cost per egg as well correct? That should be factored in as well. Thanks for your content keep it coming.

This obsession with eggs lately is exhausting 😣 Are they a good addition to your diet? Yes. Do you need them to live? No! Will you be just fine without them? 💯 YES!
