i think Wil is wrong. Sapatos pertains to a piece or pair of shoe. when you add MGA to sapatos or medyas it mean more than a pair so shoe or socks

I think “sapatos” in Tagalog can mean 1 or a pair; e.g., Nawawala yung 1 sapatos ko. But for multiple pairs it’s “mga sapatos”. Correct me if I’m wrong.
