Miguel and I have always driven past this location and always made a point that we wanted to check it out sometime as we never see Pizza Hut restaurants anymore unlike as a kid. Known for their unique roofs these were an Aussie favourite when they first opened their doors at Belfield in the 1970’s, quickly taking over the fast food industry within Australia. With the restaurants booming through the 80’s, for two decades they were a hit for Aussie families who loved a bargain whilst eating out. Fast forward to today and within Australia there are only 8 stores still around with their doors open. Although, they’ve all closed down you’ll still find these iconic roofs around such as in Liverpool along the Hume Hwy across from the Collingwood hotel. Three stores remain open within NSW and one of those just so happen to be located in St Andrew’s/Minto. This is where you’ll find an absolute steal when it comes to eating out, for just $17.95 you’ll be able to enjoy an affordable lunch or just $24.95 for dinner. As usual the weekends do increase the price ever so slightly for the lunchtime special coming to $22.95 AYCE buffet. With endless hot pizzas being thrown onto the buffet and a range of different sides including salads, chips, potato gems, etc, along with an array of desserts; you can literally eat your body weight in food for an absolute BARGAIN!
