It took me 8 days to post this. Watching this back, I can remember the exact mind and body state that I was in. As much as I never want to feel like that again, it’s more realistic to think about how I can get through it better* when times like that come again. I wanted to share it right away, but there’s always this hesitation with showing the “struggle” until I feel like I’m not struggling anymore. My friends said it looks like I’m going through a hard time, and that’s what people will see, and that scared me even though that’s the point. I can’t forget that above all else, what I document and post is for ME. And Kenley, you NEED to see and hear and remember this time. You need to look back at how far you’ve come, how resilient and determined and strong you are even in the weakest feeling moments. I can, do, and will overcome- and you as well. Hard times aren’t questionable, be there for yourself and your loved ones when the rain pours.
