A Morning Prayer to Begin the Day with God Heavenly Father, As I open my eyes to a new day, I lift my heart to You in gratitude. Thank You for the breath in my lungs, for the beating of my heart, and for the promise of another day filled with Your grace and mercy. Lord, You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, and in You, all things hold together. Today, I surrender this day into Your hands, trusting that You will guide my steps and order my path according to Your perfect will. Lord, I ask for Your wisdom today. Let my mind be sharp and clear, focused on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. When distractions come, help me to fix my thoughts on You and Your Word. Fill me with divine discernment so that every decision I make aligns with Your purpose for my life. Let me not lean on my own understanding but acknowledge You in all my ways so that You may direct my paths. Father, I pray for strength—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Be our refuge and fortress, our strong tower in times of trouble. Lord, bless the work of my hands today. Let everything I do be done with excellence, as if I am doing it for You and not for men.
