This is great!! My parents charged me $100 a fortnight for rent when I was working at 15. When I moved out at 29 they gave me all that money back for my new life alone ❤️

If the money the kids are giving is going right back to them, this is a great idea. It teaches them financial responsibility and to better manage their own money. But ofc there are selfish parents who will say it’s the “kids” money but then be using it saying “I gave it to them so it’s mine”.
