I’ve never really understood like what’s the difference between icing and royal icing. It’s at royal icing dries hard

am I the only one who thought wilton tasted like chemicals? yes it worked great but the taste was really off for me. I used genies for years but I stopped after it doubled in price.😭

I don’t use meringue powder at all. Just tried it for the first time and it was awful, icing still comes out better without it 💁🏼♀️

You should try Judees. I used Wilton to start then tried Genies but felt like it dried too quick.

I just tried génies and is it possible that you can froth the meringue too much? When they were done and dry it was kind of styrofoamy like and very very hard
