Best thing I did for my marriage was travel for work. I didn’t prep meals in advance or organize rides to practice. I just left and my husband had to step up. He did. And so did my kids.

I am divorced and I started teaching this to my son. Look around, see what needs to be done and do it. Don’t ask me. Learn to take initiative and make time to really see the dishes, trash, dust etc.
