When my kids were little, I house proofed my babies, not baby proof my house. I taught them what they could touch and what would hurt them. Start teaching good and bad, right from wrong early in life

I legit never baby proofed my house beside the stairs and outlets. My child wasn’t left unattended. She also never opened or got into anything.

Fun times! Both my kids while inquisitive were pretty good with basic child proofing ...however my nephew would find all kinds of things I hadn't proofed! And was a climber - nothing was safe!!

My son is older than my niece and my best friends daughter so when they were younger I brought him over and told them he’d show them what’s not baby proofed 😅😂😂

The cabinet corners- be cautious. One thing I didn’t think of! I only baby proofed cabinets that had glass and chemicals the rest I let him play with tupperwares 😂

we just changed things when our son started to move more and more 😊 we added baby gate for kitchen etc, but when he learnt to open that we just moved glass dishes more up etc 😊

We put up a gate (to close off the kitchen if necessary) and some cabinet locks and have a outlet box cover (she liked to pull on cords)

Definitely find a way to lock the trashcan or get a new one! I work in a preschool and we have toddlers get their fingers stuck in the foot pedal once a week
