Had a lad I work with loop a cable round, cut the wrong side of the loop, was about 20 meters short 😂

I used to pull in fibre cables on a big scale, 2000m pulls on motorways. I pulled in 1k of cable then chopped the cable at the drum instead of fleeting off the other 1k of cable. gaffer wasn't happy

Always use rope to guestimate length and way it's going to lie. Makes it handier to install knowing won't be wrong

I did a Sunday morning shift after a party and cut fully through the 300mm cable long enough for the phases to reach the connections then realised the neutral needed to be an inch longer. Crimp mm lug
