@chihirocooks: Japan has a popular fast food chain, where a fresh beef patty is combined with an umami filled meat sauce to make the Mos Burger. It shouldn't work, but it's so good! [Meat Sauce] 100g ground beef 1 onion 1/2 celery, carrot 100ml red wine 100ml chicken stock 200g diced tomatoes (replace with puree if you want smoother texture) 1 tbsp rice vinegar 2 tbsp sugar Salt & pepper, grounded nutmeg 2 tbsp flour Butter bay leaves 1 tbsp worcestshire sauce [Patty Ingredients (about 2)] 300g ground beef Salt & pepper 1 tsp grounded nutmeg 1 tbs milk 4 tbsp bread crumbs 1 egg 15g butter [Other Ingredients] Burger bun Sliced Tomato Chopped Onions Japanese mayo 1 slice cheese of your choice 1. Finely chop up veggies, saute in a lot of butter until onions are lightly caramelized. 2. Separately sear ground beef, add & mix into the veggies. 3. Add & mix the rest of ingredients above, simmer for ~20 minutes and occasionally stir. 4. Combing all the patty ingredients above. 5. Mix & squeeze, make balls of meat. 6. Heat & coat grill or pan with oil, high heat. 7. Add the meat, smash it a tad, put on lid and cook for about 4 minutes. 8. Flip it over, cook for 4 more minutes, optionally add cheese at the middle. 9. Smear Japanese mayo onto bun, add the patty, then diced onions, then the meat sauce, then a tomato, then the bun.
