In full transparency, surgery days (this is from 2024) are extremely difficult for us. As dad and caregiver, I am no longer in charge and have to leave my daughter’s care up to someone else who doesn't quite know her like we do. I gotta be strong, even in times when I'm not ok. Although, this surgery was March 2024, the feelings and emotions behind them are present even in moments of reflection, and have been since 2020.
