We had a perfectly healthy fellow at our hospital work with the flu and strep and ended up on ECMO because his body had no time to rest and heal. Take a rest day. You need it

How would you feel if another resident was out sick and you had to cover? I'm sure you'd gladly help out a co-resident because everyone is in it together! Don't feel guilty about life happening!
