IHSAA needs to fix the new sectional layout before worrying about seeding. It’s ridiculous that teams in a sectional would potentially have to travel 1.5 hours for a mid-week 7:30pm game.

So you want to seed the better teams and not seed the mediocre ones. Sounds about right. Why does it matter what night they play on, they are still going to have to play.

Seeding can’t be subjective. Volleyball uses a mathematical ranking system that people listen to more than a coaches poll but other sports rely too much on subjective polls
