Indigenous spirits and energy most likely, some places they’re more prominent than others. When you go to places like this in our culture you NEED to introduce yourself to country, this includes grabbing a handful of sand and telling them who you are, what you are doing there and thanking them for the land you are on, then rub the sand in between your hands as if you are washing your hands in the sand. This puts your DNA into the country and helps spirits know who you are so that the good energies can protect you. They’re most likely just curious of who you are and what you are doing there :)

Your dog is very threatened. Dogs can hear heartbeats from quite a distance and can kind of identify the size of a threat from heart beat. If it was something he’s experienced before, like a roo etc, he wouldn’t be so freaked out. What ever is out there is big. Think about it

I live in Canberra and also hate that spot! We took our staffy and she would just not go any further in - which is odd because she usually would be dragging us behind her to go explore. Trust your instinct - and your dog!
