my boy had surgery about 2.5 weeks ago and the day after he was jumping on and off the couch, rolling around on the floor, playing with toys, had the zoomies and he’s completely fine! don’t stress👍🏻

if you're really worried, I'd contact the vet about the possibility for sedatives! apparently its often used for the breed because theyre so lively and friendly 😅😭 my Lucy will need them apparently

Generally I would say it’ll probably just make her muscle layer swell but may be worth asking for some meds to calm her down. Or try things to mentally tire her out like puzzle feeding etc

My girl struggled to not be hyper after her surgery she was fine but it did end up making the surgery site swell! So just be careful and be cruel to be kind 🥰

My girl was the same just keep an eye she doesn’t get an infection in the stitch sight as my girl did and all he need was some antibiotics

We just had our little one done and she recovered in a few days there was no stopping her .. its been two weeks now and she is totally fine even with all the jumping/running etc :)

My girl was only about a year old when she was done, just lots of cage rest should be good! Ik it feels cruel but they will be okay! Little movements to get to you are fine but they shouldn’t run 1/2

My 🌈 girl jumped over the dog gate bought to keep her safe, within an hour of coming home. I think waggy Maggie will be ok 🥰🥰🥰
