Do you know how many millions of dogs are not crated and they're fine? It's also up to you 1) to train them correctly 2) to not leave dangerous stuff for them to chew on.

I crate trained my dog the first 2yrs of his life. Now he doesn’t see the inside of a crate - has his bed in the closet with a permanent open door - roams free and never chews or messes

Why are dogs chewing on these products? Is it reoccurring or isolated? I have a poodle and she has never chewed on anything but her toys that she can find in her basket. Should I be worried?

1 don`t leave your dog until it is trained to be alone. 2 clean your home or restrict to a small area. But it needs room to move and at least a warm and a cool sleeping spot. A crate that big is fine

if a dog has enough stimulation & exercise outdoors, they will never destroy & chew on things. so simple.not saying it can’t be useful at times BUT my dog will never be crated when I leave the house

My dogs love their crates it’s their room. The door open when I am home. When is thunderstorms I have one chooses to be in his room They live in dens it’s comforting.

I had 3 dogs in my life and never had a problem letting them alone innthe house. I'm born and raised in Germany and never heard about crate training before I came to Canada. I got a dog here in Canada

Depends on the dog. Mine is free in the whole house. I could go out and leave a roast chicken on the coffee table and he wouldn't touch it because he won't take anything that is not his.

If there’s ever an emergency, a dog that is not kennel trained is shoved in a kennel and is absolutely terrified. Mine are kenneled when I am not home. Everyone is safe that way
