Haha….I’m starting to sort of self isolate away from them and orchestrating it so I can work almost by myself so I don’t have to watch mediocrity. It would kill me if I had to go to a lower level. May as well just leave.

And having high standards irritates those around you with low standards. they see you as an obstacle and sometimes try to eliminate you from behind. but if you are truly smart, nothing escapes you.

I never met anyone (even outside the work world) that met my high standards. To me it seems that not a single human being (till today) is close to my standards. That's why I am single for a long time

I am more frustrated with how hard it is to not upset people by being this way. Literally burns me out. hierarchy also frustrates me as I can't communicate my insights up a chain.

Conversely I would argue minimalism of performance would allow someone of high-intelligence to work better. Perfection is not the standard but it is a goal that can not be reached.

Im 38 and play co-ed pickup soccer. I get so frustrated with these grown men because I’ve played high level ⚽️most my life , but pickup is all levels. I get super intense and frustrated.
