1) My sister was diagnosed in her 30s; I haven't tested. I started antidepressants in my 20s because I needed them but I already have had to mourn the person I could have been if someone had seen me.

When kid1 got put on ADHD meds, I freaked out b/c he played for HOURS on a single thing. I called Dr who told me to leave kid TF alone b/c he was enjoying quiet for the 1st time in his life.

I cried on my first day of meds when I wasn’t annoyed at my kids and stopped to explain stuff to them. I was so sad that I didn’t have th tool that literally transformed me as a parent.
