If you cant afford your house then rent it out. But dont sell it because rent will only ever go up and your mortage is fixed

Pay a chunk of your property tax on your own so your escrow will cover the balance. You can send little payments I do this, I also work in the property tax office. A lot of people don’t realize this.

in Florida, if you volunteer at the state park, you can live in a camper at the park for free for 4-8 months at a time, then you have to switch to a different park & so on back and forth.

My neighbor’s taxes went out 62%. Mine went out 34%. My mom went up 50%. I can afford it, but I worry about my neighbor and my mom as they are on a fixed income. Such a huge increase.

You can start paying extra into your escrow now so you’re payment doesn’t go up as much when they revisit your escrow
