Buying exotic animals contributes to a system of breeders selling to uneducated ppl. The animals donโt get the kind of treatment they need and suffer for it. Rescue from your local shelter instead.

DVM here. These are NOT a "omg cute" impulse buy. The majority of buyers can't provide proper habitat, dietary needs or vet care. Breeders set people up for failure & spread misinformation for $$.

Those leashes hes using are abusive. I have one of those possums. Not hard to find. And that possum would eat the micro squirrel in a heartbeat. The possum is a carnivore. They are TERRIFIED of him rn
