@solidstarts: Not sure where to begin? 🥦🍗🍓 Here’s a fun fact: Almost any food can be made safe for babies starting solids, if you know how to serve it. Before offering new foods, introduce each common allergen on its own and watch for any potential reactions before offering more. The Solid Starts App walks you through how to start solids from the very first bite, including a guided, safe introduction to allergens, meal ideas, recipes and ways to share what you’re eating with your baby. Have a food in mind but not sure how to offer it? It’s free to search foods in the app, and for a more customized experience, check out our subscription options. No. Never give bite sized pieces to a child under 2 years old.

I’m confused why do you give them big pieces at first, then small pieces then big pieces again?I mean ik at first the pieces are big to prevent choking but why does it go to smaller then bigger at 12m

I don't get why people give huge things babies like I just super fine. Cut it up. I've been doing that since she's six months.

i always started of fully mashed up and smooth at 6 months, 7months left abit of small chunks, just to get baby use to texture learning to chew, 8 months more chunkier consistancy. worked for me.

This is baby led weaning correct? I want to do it but my anxiety of her choking might get me lol. For now I’ll stick with puree.
