I've received countless compliments on my parenting, especially in public, which I discuss in detail on this podcast releasing Tuesday. But what frustrates me most is seeing parents react harshly to their children for expressing emotions they don’t yet know how to process. I often hear phrases like, “You’re embarrassing me,” or “Stop, you look stupid.” What many parents don’t realize is that these reactions stem from their own insecurities and their fear of judgment from others. When a child has an emotional outburst, it is not about the parent, but too often, parents make it personal. I don’t claim to be a perfect parent because perfection in parenting is subjective. But what I do know is that when my son is struggling with big emotions, I don’t shame him or make it about me. Instead, I meet him at his level, look him in the eyes, and allow his nervous system to co-regulate with mine. I breathe deeply and speak to him calmly, creating a safe space where he can process his feelings without fear. Then, I present him with choices, empowering him to take control of his emotions and responses. The truth is most children and even many adults struggle to understand and process their emotions. They often don’t even recognize what they’re feeling or why. That is why emotional regulation isn’t just something children need to learn, it is something parents need to model. Many parents come to me asking for help with their children’s behavior, but the reality is children are a direct reflection of their environment. No matter how much a parent believes their child is just acting out, at least 50 percent of a child’s behavior is shaped by their surroundings and the other 50 percent is influenced by their genetics. If you want to change your child’s behavior, start by looking inward because they are learning how to navigate the world by watching you! ❤️

You got it — here's the same version with even more emojis to really bring the energy and vibe: Some of the biggest lessons I wish I had taken on earlier in life… and honestly, ones I’m still working on every day: Work hard and stay consistent 🔥 Not just when it feels good or things are flowing — but especially when it’s uncomfortable, when no one’s clapping 👏, when you feel like giving up. Show up 100% 💯 even when it’s messy, even when you're tired. That’s where the magic happens ✨ That’s where you grow. Keep going. Always. 🏁 Be better than you were yesterday ➕ Even if it’s just by 1% every day. Show up to improve, to learn, to evolve — not to be perfect, but to be present 🧠 Every little win counts. Compound it. Build it. Own it. Be deeply grateful — for everything 🙏 The big wins, sure… but especially the little things you forget to notice. A deep breath 🌬️, clean water 💧, your morning coffee ☕, someone who checks in ❤️, the quiet. Be grateful for the lessons too — especially the ones that came wrapped in pain. Don’t take any of this for granted ⏳ Not your health, not your people, not your time. Life can change so quickly. Be here for it. All of it. Work hard 💪 Stay blessed ✨ Speak love ❤️ Live fully Because this moment? Right now? It’s everything 🌍 Let’s get it 🚀 Let’s grow 🌱 Let’s breathe 🧘‍♂️ You’ve got this I’ve got this We’ve got this Let’s go 🏃‍♂️ One breath at a time 🌬️ One step at a time 👣 Every damn day 🔁 Work hard ⚒️ Stay blessed ✨ Be grateful 🙏 Never stop showing up Love you ❤️ Mean it Keep breathing Keep believing #believe #fyp
