@wahlaoweii: It’s so frustrating to try to drive safely in Singapore now. I was involved in a hit-and-run incident earlier this year (which I successfully claimed and filed a police case against the driver), and I’ve also had several near misses due to careless driving. This minority group of bad drivers is making the roads unsafe, even when they are not speeding. The driver turned right on a straight only lane, I had released my accelerator to allow him to filter him but I guess he had other plans. It is most fortunate that there were no motorist on the other side. Innocent parties could have been hurt. Watching back on the video, there were 8 - 9 vehicles that had driven past on the other side, with the last car driving through not more than 5 seconds before he beat the lights. #baddriver #singaporeroads
