⬇️ At the end of the job interview, when they say, “This was great, we are going to put a job offer together.” or “We will email you with next steps and a job offer.”  Ok, sure, maybe they meant it. 🤔 Maybe they really were gonna put a job offer together for you but then the next day they met with a different candidate who they liked better. And they ended up making that person the offer and never sending you a rejection email.  📊 We are in an employers job market which means there are more candidates than openings so companies can be very, very picky. And no one is holding them accountable to do the right thing and communicate with you. So while you’re putting your job search on hold and waiting they’re interviewing other people and making other people offers.  📌 Just because they said the interview went well, doesn’t mean they are going to make you an offer. It doesn't mean anything until they make you an offer.  🙈Don’t believe anything they say until you have a signed offer letter  🧑🏽‍💻Whatever you do, keep applying, keep networking and keep interviewing until you get a job offer.  ❌ Them telling you that they are making you a job offer is NOT a job offer.  📆 It takes the average job seeker 6-9 months and it could take even longer in an employers market. And if you keep stopping your job search everytime someone says they'll be in touch you will only be extending your job search and hurting yourself.  Don’t think for a second that the company/recruiter isn’t keeping their options open. They are going to interview as many people as possible. They don’t stop after they meet one good candidate. And neither should you.  #jobapplication #jobsearchtips #joboffer #jobsearch #corporatejob #jobinterview #interviewtips
