Don't worry - pretty soon mask clearing will just be automatic. I almost never have to take mine completely off underwater (I wear contacts) though it has been kicked off by another diver.

Luckily I’ve never had to fully take my mask off/put it on underwater since I qualified and I’ve been diving for about 12 years so don’t worry about that too much! 😂❤️
