It’s not a “Dream Body” if it’s a nightmare to maintain.  ➡️ While I specified “visible abs” in the video, it truly applies to being lean and “shredded” in general.  😮‍💨 Those last 10 pounds you want to lose are generally the hardest and require the most effort, discipline and sacrifice.  💵 You need to weigh the cost and if you’re willing to pay it.  📈 In my personal experience, the cost I paid to be that lean was extremely high: ❌ Difficult to maintain  ❌ No energy  ❌ Constant hunger and obsession with food ❌ Excessively long workouts  ❌ Weakness in the gym  ❌ No lifestyle, dreading birthday parties and events with food, not being able to go out to eat with friends, packing my meal prep everywhere ❌ Complete depletion of my hormones, so much so that I had to start HRT two years after my show because they weren’t recovering  ❌ Let’s not even begin to talk about the body dysmorphia that comes with show prep/ extreme levels of leanness too. 😑  When I put on a healthy level of body fat, became less “shredded” and gave up my constantly visible abs…  ✨I FELT SO MUCH BETTER!✨ ✅ I have SIGNIFICANTLY more strength in the gym (more food = more energy) ✅ I have an extremely healthy relationship with food and never feel guilty for eating foods that I love!  ✅ I bake again! Yesterday I made chocolate cake and cinnamon rolls for my family and enjoyed them both with NO GUILT.  ✅ I have less cravings overall ✅ I have been able to grow muscle  ✅ I enjoy parties and going out to eat with friends ✅ I feel better and am happier  ✅ Maintaining my current physique is much easier Do I miss being shredded and lean? Sometimes. But I know the cost and am not willing to pay it.  ➡️ So let’s flip the script on this! Instead of trying to get leaner and smaller for our muscle to show, let’s grow more muscle!  💪🏻 Because the MORE muscle you have, the more it will show without you having to chase an elusive and unmaintainable level of leanness.
