It has a timing belt that runs through oil. Hard pass on any Ford with that engine. Longevity will be awful

I just bought an escape st line for $25k because it was a last year model, and they had it discounted by $9k, and it has the 1.5, and I love it so far.

They’re great! My girlfriend got a desert tan Big Bend last year and has put 25k miles on it so far. Tons of space and handles great on the road, not bad for roadtrips too.

Had our 24 Outer Banks for a year, 25k miles and we’ve not had one issue and genuinely enjoy it, although our F-150 does ride much nicer

Parents’ Bronco Sport was one of the first on the road, they took delivery in Dec 2020. It’s got 70K on it now and they freakin love that thing. It’s towed and camped all over, been to Moab, and more

The biggest thing holding back the Bronco Sport is that people think of it as a cheap less capable version of the Bronco. I think it might have been received better as an Escape.
