@thatartteachermachado: Using the Primary Colors to Mix Paint | Neutral Brown & Black I love teaching color theory, and my high school students have been focusing on mixing their own colors using red, yellow, blue and white. They are making skin tones and neutrals by making their own browns. I love watching them color match their skin. They also have to make their own black, using the same colors. You mix more blue by a bunch and a little less yellow to make a nice neutral black. It will never be as dark as a store bought mars black, but it’s great for color blending and for students to learn how to make their own dark neutrals. They make the most nuanced and satisfying grays! I am using Blickrylic paint which we all have our opinions about.
