Laundry is a not in the cope of practice of a nurse but keeping up with medical supplies is. That being said for a good family who provides snacks and good rapport, non-nursing tasks happen. 🤷🏼♀️

I’m a peds nurse and cuddles, developmental care, etc is part of the job! I work ICU and we take stable babies out to the nurses station to hold and chart when they’re fussy.
