your hair color is interesting because the length matters a lot when we classify it. The elements naturally makes the ends lighter so the longer it is, the lighter it appears

I have the same hair colour as you, used to be straw blonde as a kid. We call it rat colour in Sweden 😂

If its a gold undertone its still in the blonde family. I have light brown in the brunette because of the gold and red natural highlights. I think châtain is used to deacribe light brunette shades tho

It’s a bleaching issue. Blonde brown is blonde, bleached blonde is just that, bleached. But it’s seen so much its skewing perspective.
