Brought to you in collaboration with @Human Aid Recipe: 1kg Lamb Shoulder, diced 1 Onion 2 Cloves Garlic 2 Cloves 4 Split Green Cardamom Pods 1 tsp turmeric 1L Water 1 Tbsp Tomato Puree 1 Medium size squash/pumpkin/gourd 1 Loaf of stale brown bread 1) Fry the meat cubes in a little oil to brown. 2) Finely chop the onion and slice the garlic. Add into the empty pan and cook on a medium low heat for 5 minutes. 3) Add the meat back in, cover with water, spices and tomato before bringing to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pan and cook on a low heat for around 2 hours or until the meat is soft. 4) Dice the vegetable of choice and add into the cooked broth, cooking for a further 10 minutes or until the vegetable is tender. 5) Season with salt, then to serve, crumble the bread into a bowl and generously ladle the thareed over the top.
