Laryngomalacia! My baby girl has it! Dr said she would only be concerned if she was losing weight!

Mary Fender :
Laryngomalacia is a condition that causes noisy breathing in babies. It's usually present at birth and often resolves on its own by 18 to 24 months.

Sounds like baby is mucousy. Have you noticed it when he’s crying at all? Have you tried suctioning his nose? Sit in a steamy bathroom for a minute or two. Definitely seek another opinion if you need!

All 3 of my kids were noisy like these as newborns. Drs said it was normal and they eventually grew out of it but second opinions never hurt! 🫶🏼

As a nanny it has been normal most times but right after birth they call it singing and could indicate fluid in the lungs.

Sometimes it happens when they swallow fluid when being born. My last son had it and it went away
